Kappa operates an open organization to accommodate smaller budgets and informal projects. Use Kappa services on an as needed informal basis, or as a full service contract provider. Individual services are more affordable, because they do not carry the level of formal, contractual commitment of resources etc. that are customary with organizational level deployment.
Kappa reserves the right to adjust the rates using a sliding scale on a case by case basis, such as for charitable causes or as a part of establishing good will.
Regular maintenance fees often include the following options:
Time that is spent actively processing tasks specifically related to the project is billable, including handling communication, documentation, production, specialized equipment, professional research, office expenses and other expenses directly attributable to the project.
Software development, research, equipment, communication, and time not directly attributable to the project are not billed to client.
Large projects require retainer. Extended projects and scheduled, periodic labor billed at significantly reduced rates.
